Policy
All web advertising is paid for; any investment, in kind or mutual support will be a bespoke negotiation, which could be represented in a logo or links on the supporter’s page, email outs, print or high lights.
How the Hits will happen...
Festivals are prolific; they all hold databases of performers, suppliers, media and ticket buyers. If a festival of medium size (100 events) sent a direct WFN email to their lists there would be a mushroom effect.
This is the WFN’s potential market.
Below is a table explaining the projected contacts who receive an email from a festival and then forward it on (with an incentive such as a competition). The festival is medium size with approximately 100 events.

TOTAL reached with one festival email shot – 68,370
If you then imagine that there are 1,000 festivals willing to send email shots on behalf of the WFN, and 100 was an average number of events they had, the total emails would reach 68,370,000 people. There are hundreds of thousands of festivals around the world all of different sizes. The WFN has over a thousand on its database and over 35,000 media suppliers and performers.
A Marketing Revolution!
World Festival Network has started a marketing revolution and is the first company in the world to allow anyone to sell its advertising.
The WFN wants the advertising on the website to represent the global-ness of its business. Without offices in every country we feel it would not achieve the complete diversity and adequate representation of the festival industry we are looking for.
We understand that times are difficult in the current financial climate and want to be a part of getting more business to festival related companies.
With advertising starting at just £30 you can’t go wrong. Nearly 30 countries in the first week of launching have been exploring the World Festival Network website. Festivals are relevant to almost every person on the planet and are apparent in all cultures so the WFN is set to go far.
What’s the Network about?
The World Festival Network already holds details for more festivals than any other membership free website. It is in the early stages of development and wants to work alongside other networks, and believes success comes through sharing and collaboration.
The future of the WFN will hold profiles for users, comprehensive suppliers lists, accommodation, travel, tour guides for performers, advice on laws and legislation, marketing advice and much more. It’s the one-stop shop for festival information whether you’re a performer, festival staff, a supplier, the media or an audience member.
All you need to do is sell an advert, which will appear on this website. Ensure when the buyer emails advertise@worldfestivalnet.com they state that it was you who suggested it on the form and pass on your email address.
The ads will be on a first come first serve basis; they need to be relevant to the festival industry, legal and clean! You will get 15% of the net cost into your bank account on anything you sell.
